Wedding Trial Prep
1. Before your wedding trial appointment we want you to get inspired! Please take look at our Instagram and website for hair and makeup ideas www.instagram.com/glass_slipper_wedding. We are also here to provide you with inspiration if you are being pulled in different directions on what look to go with. It’s easy: Send us a photo of yourself, wedding dress, colors, and theme if you have one. We will review your package and send you some inspiration images.
2. You will want to prepare for your trial as if it is your big day. This will be an official hair and makeup preview of what you will look like. Your hair should be completely dry and all makeup should be removed from the skin. Hair can be 1-2 days old. Wearing a shirt that is the same color of your dress would be ideal as this will help you see how the makeup would reflect with your wardrobe.
3. Let us know in advanced of any allergies and/or specifications regarding your health. Our artist use an array of products that are cruelty free and hypoallergenic.
4. During your appointment. Meet your artist and share your wedding vision. Be sure to have head pieces, hair accessories , veil and hair extensions if possible. If not, no worries. We can still duplicate the same look the day of the wedding and include all hair accessories.
5. Expect your trial to take 1.5-2.5 hrs depending on the package you have selected for your day. Be sure to let us know of any changes necessary for your wedding day. Don’t be shy to speak up if something is not to your liking. It is our job to make it perfect before we leave.
6. During the trial only the trial payment is due. We accept payments via Zelle: info@theglassslipperwedding.com, or Credit/debit card over the phone. There is a 3% fee for credit/debit card usage. If you are paying by check please let us know in advanced.
7. The artist at the trial will be your assigned artist the day of the wedding. Upon arrival the artists will need a clear working table or counter top space near outlets to plug in hot tools.
8. We will be taking tons of pictures so that we can duplicate the exact look on wedding day.
Wedding Day Prep!
Your big day is finally here!!
1. All payments for beauty services MUST BE paid before the services take place.
2. No add-ons or services are permitted on the day of the event and ONLY those listed in the contract will be serviced.
3. In order for services to be performed efficiently, we will need a clear workspace near outlets and with natural lighting .
4. You and your bridal party should arrive to your location with a clean face and completely dry hair along with a loose fitted shirt that can go over the head. Anyone who arrives with wet hair will be charged the $25 prep fee before the service begin.
6. Cell phones, food and drink with the exception of water will not be permitted when services are taking place.
7. Any damaged items to artists tools or products will need to be covered by the client.
8. If we go over the contracted time, there will be a $50 charge per 30 min after the original contracted time.
9. It is encouraged that each person brings an inspiration image of both hair and makeup so that the assigned artist can nail the desired look in a timely manner
10. Steamers should not be used in the same room as hair and makeup.
